Our program will help athletes learn proper running form while building strength, endurance, and flexibility that can be applied to field events and many other sports.

December 10, 2022 at the AAU Cross Country National Championship the Cape Fear Flyers had the best showing in recent club history.
We had sixteen athletes compete and seven earned medals. Of our seven medalist, 4 earned the distinction of being named All-Americans and our very own Head coach Barbara Bass is National Women's Master Champion.
Amelia Medlin, 14, an 8th grader at Roland-Grise Middle school was the second 14 year old girl to finish the 4k.
Ralph Pfeil, 12, was the third 12 year old boy to finish the 11-12 year old 3K.
We are extremely proud of the work done by all our athletes this season especially the Flyers who trained hard and worked all the way to the Championship meet.
