150 athletes, youth and community members, competed on the trails of Carolina Beach State Park at various distances at Monster Dash 2025.

Cape Fear Flyers raised $3,000+ this year.

Monster Dash is a Halloween themed youth cross country meet and community 5K on the trails of the state park to commemorate/celebrate Great Trails State Day.  Monster Dash is used as a fundraiser for Cape Fear Flyers NC, Inc.  This is an annual event scheduled  on Great Trails State Day which is the third Saturday in October since 2023. 

Registration is closed for  new athletes for the 2025 Cross Country Season.

After school cross country ends the Cape Fear Flyer XC season will continue into December if any middle/high school athlete would like an opportunity to continue to train they can join our club for Free.

Our main meet left this season is the AAU North Carolina District Cross Country Championship in Hope Mills on November 8 this meet will allow you to qualify to compete at the AAU National Championship in Knoxville, TN in on December 6.

You do not have to compete to continue training but are welcome to if you would like to, Parents will need to enroll you in AAU to compete at the meets. If you want a club T-shirt that will be $20 or club singlet $40
