Consistent with local, state, and federal health directives and the suggestions of the governing bodies of our sport, the Board and Head Coach have decided it is our best interest as a community club that we will be suspending our season at this time. We plan to re-evaluate the situation at our next Board meeting on April 14 and decide how to proceed based on the directives at that time. Any changes to this plan or the decisions made at that meeting will be posted here.
Registration includes facility rentals, equipment, and coaching as well as a t-shirt for each athlete and entry fees for any meets that have a team registration rate. All individual meet events and governing body fees will be paid by the athletes.
There are two levels of the registration...
1) Non-Championship for those athletes not intending to compete in State, Regional, or National Competitions... these athletes will not be required to join the governing body. these athletes will be practicing until June 22.
2) Championship these athletes intend to compete at State, Regional, and National Meets or as far as they qualify to compete. These athletes will be required to pay for admission into United States Track and Field (USATF) so they are in compliance to compete at that level. These Athletes maybe practicing through July 25.
Practices will start on March 23. Practices will be on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6-7:30p we are still working on locking down locations for practice. There will be a parents meeting during the first practice. Our first practice will be in Veterans Park.
The Flyers strive to reach as many young athletes as possible. In an effort to do this we offer scholarships to any family that has athletes that may want to participate but are not financial able . Below is the .pdf of the information and application for the scholarship program. If your athlete is rewarded a scholarship you will receive a discount code to use for registration. The application can be returned by mail or email.
If you have any further questions about the program or would like to make a donation to sponsor a scholarship please contact us at email@example.com
