150 athletes, youth and community members, competed on the trails of Carolina Beach State Park at various distances at Monster Dash 2025.

Cape Fear Flyers raised $3,000+ this year.

Monster Dash is a Halloween themed youth cross country meet and community 5K on the trails of the state park to commemorate/celebrate Great Trails State Day.  Monster Dash is used as a fundraiser for Cape Fear Flyers NC, Inc.  This is an annual event scheduled  on Great Trails State Day which is the third Saturday in October since 2023.
